I want to know what experiences anyone has had with rv parks and trying to get online. In a purrrrfect world...we would all have the in motion satelite setup, but most of us don't! I am experiencing some problems with the wireless connection I have here at the park I'm in, in Arizona. They have DirecWay and it's only $10 a month but a dial-up method would be much faster. I get dropped usually in the middle of a good game on Pogo! I found out you are at the mercy of whatever the owners want to set up. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with slowing it down but they have this encrypted to where someone looking for a "hotspot" won't find it. What about other places? Any good?

You are basically slaved to whatever service the campground provides, and the more users they have the slower it will be. If they offer cable service at the park, you may want to try a connection thru that.
